Chopping my hair off has been far less traumatic than watching my hair come out in clumps every.single.day. There’s not much I can do, style wise, but I’m keeping my eye on the bigger picture; achieving healthy hair while embracing my natural hair/curls.
So far the products I’ve been using (pictures below) have been great. I added in some gel (Eco Styler), Shea Moisture Curl and Shine Conditioner, and Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie. For whatever reason, the Shea Moisture products seem to be working better than the Cantu products. I do use the Just For Me spray and the Cantu Coconut oil spray interchangeably.

Loving that I can see my natural curls. I find myself often playing with the individual curls. The hubster said I have a head full of grey hair and the stylist stated the same. I cant really see it except in the front but I will be dying my hair.
We’re going on vacation in a few months and I’m looking into doing crochet faux locs. I’m not sure how that’s going to work (I have seen a few Youtube videos) with my hair being so short, but we shall see.
What are faux locs? I love this young lady faux locs.
