Bang Bang Shrimp *Homemade*

I LOVE bang bang shrimp. The recipe below was pretty simple and the end result? DEEE-LISH

Watching him cook and being in the kitchen together really brought us closer. And when it was time to eat the delicious food he prepared – lets just say, it was off the heezay! Im so looking forward to us starting it back up. The one thing that did catch us off guard was how much it was costing but the upside is that we were using fresh veggies and different spices. Im from the South and we put sugar and butter in everything, so it was a shock to my system not having it in our meals..LOL!!

List of ingredients
1/2 cup of mayo
1/4 cup of Thai sweet chili sauce
A few drops of Sriracha hot chili sauce
dry corn starch for batter
1 pound of shrimp – shelled and deveined
scallions- chooped

Mix mayo, Thai chili sauce and Sriracha hot chili sauce in a bowl

Coat shrimp with cornstarch

Deep fat fry coated shrimp until golden brown

Drain on paper towel, then place in a bowl and coat with sauce

Serve in a lettuce lined bowl and top with scallions
